Dann bin ich reingegangen und habe gefragt ob ich eine Karte haben könnte. Ich bekam eine Karte und musste dann noch einmal 10 Minuten warten bis mir der Geduldsfaden riss und ohne zu bestellen mich verabschiedete.
Freundliche Bedienung, feines Essen. Bruschetta waren sehr fein und frisch. Zur Zuppa di Pesche gab es noch Brot. Als wir gemütlich auf den Kurfürstendamm von Geschäft zu Geschäft bummelten kam der kleine Hunger.
In diesem Moment sprach uns am Eingang zum Restaurant Capone der Chef an und hat uns mit seiner Freundlichkeit überzeugt einzukehren. Man erhielt einen Platz zugewiesen, welcher den Wünschen entsprach Auch die Bedienung war sofort zur Stelle und kümmerte sich umgehend um ihre Gäste.
Immer ein Lächeln und freundliche auftreten, trotz Stress, zeichnete sie aus. Wir hatten uns für die Dorade entschieden.
Ich ohne Kartoffeln und mit angebratenen Gemüse. Wie gewünscht kamen die Gerichte später in normaler Wartezeit aus der Küche.
Etwas zu viel Öl war auf den Teller, aber damit konnte man leben. Die Kartoffeln hat meine Frau etwas nachgesalzen.
Wobei dies nicht schlimm ist, da jeder seine Kartoffeln gerne anders würzt. Die Dorade war gut und schmackhaft.
Was aber bei solch einer Lage einen oft interessiert ist der Preis und wir können Euch beruhigen, den diese sind ok und hier stimmt Preis Leistung sehr gut.
So sollte auch etwas für ein Trinkgeld für die freundliche und schnelle Bedienung drin sein. Jetzt fragt man sich, warum dann ein Punkt weniger.
Leider war es schon etwas frisch im Restaurant, warum auch einige Frauen ihre Jacken anbehielten. Die Preise sind im ordnung. Sehr gutes essen, nette authentische Bedienung, Platzwechsel nach Anfrage wegen eines Pfeilers, ohne zu zögern gestattet.
Sehr zufrieden, preisleistungsverhältnis für Kurfürstendamm sehr gut. Als wir dort einkehrten, waren unsere Erwartungen eher gering, sah es doch eher nach einer Touristenfalle aus.
Wir wurden jedoch positiv überrascht. Der Service war nett, das Ambiente super und das Essen toll. Ich war am späteren Abend zum Essen.
Das Essen ist gut. Die Auswahl ist breit, so dass für jeden etwas dabei sein müsste Die Preise sind nicht allzu günstig, aber das macht auch die Lage.
Die Gemütlichkeit ist das einzige Defizit. Das Restaurant ist eher auf Masse ausgelegt und so ist auch die Einrichtung gestaltet.

Hard rolls frozen butter. Nasty bathroom nats flying around. Terrible place to eat. Some of the best food in Central IL and a tasty wine list too!
If you like food and wine, this is the new weekly! Had the crab portobello mushroom fettuccine. Very rich and creamy.
Lover it. Also tried the Pizza, spot on delicious ricotta and portobello and a very flavorful sauce. We live in town, but don't frequent this place as often as I'd like.
The prices are decent and the food is very tasty. The burgers are huge and the pizza is hard to beat. Sometimes it takes a long time to get your food, but fortunately, it is worth the wait.
This is a hidden gem of central Illinois. If you want unbelievable Italian food with fantastic portion sizes at a reasonable price, you must try Capones!
Everything on the menu is delicious. Food was excellent. Had the bang bang shrimp and ribs, the next table had plate envy.
Service was spot on and the place was busy. We will be back. Service was slow and the did not have everything on menu.
When asked waitress said they had garlic bread but they only served rolls. Loved it. Great Italian food the pizza and calzones are Beyond expectations.
The wait staff is terrific prompt and courteous. We highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious salad dressings, scallops Roberto the best I have had in a long time.
Eclectic furnishings and fun atmosphere. If you want the original Bernie n Betty's pizza, this is where the owners landed! It's a hodgepodge of a place, gas station in front, Capone's Restaunt in the middle, last but not least, the Garden room Restraunt in the back!
All located in a cornfield of a town! Absolutely everything is excellent. In the back of Capone's his son has a separate Restraunt, he calls The Garden.
Need to make reservations much in advance but the food a remarkable work of an artistic mind The two Restraunts couldn't be more opposite!
Worth the short drive from Springfield. I had the pork chops, and my wife had the chicken cattitore. Both meals came out hot and had large portion sizes.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place! Food was just ok Very slow.
Details on the hours, on this site, are misleading. The restaurant isn't open until 5 pm. Excellent food, excellent service.

They were very busy and took a while to get our order but the food was delicious. Pizza, pasta, horseshoes, steaks.
Enormous calzones. Will definitely go back. We were at the tapas garden. Capones was closed. We had fried portabellas, a seafood and noodle dish and a pizza.
The fried portabellas were good and the puzza was superb. The other dish was ok but I'm not a huge seafood fan.
The black noodles in that dish were good. I cannot wait to go back for a pizza. One pizza would have been enough for 2.
